Product Safety
Please review the following safety information before using a Stepman's Tea ceremony set or ceremonial tea product.
1. General Use
Stepman's Tea ceremony sets are intended for the preparation and serving of tea. Please use each set carefully and only for its intended purpose.
Tea ceremony involves hot water, heated vessels, ceramic or glass teaware, and delicate surfaces. Careful handling is always recommended during setup, brewing, pouring, and serving.
2. Hot Water & Heated Surfaces
Teapots, gaiwans, fairness cups, trays, and tea cups may become hot during use. Always handle hot vessels with caution to reduce the risk of burns, spills, or breakage.
Keep hot water, heated teaware, and active tea ceremony setups away from children, pets, edges, and unstable surfaces.
3. Ceramic & Glass Care
Ceramic and glass components should be handled with care. Even well-made teaware may break, crack, or chip if dropped, impacted, or exposed to sudden temperature changes.
Before use, inspect each tea ceremony set for visible damage. Do not continue using any item that appears cracked, chipped, loose, unstable, or otherwise compromised.
4. Temperature Changes
Avoid exposing teaware to abrupt temperature changes, as thermal shock may cause cracking or breakage.
Where appropriate, warming the vessel gradually before introducing very hot water may help reduce stress on ceramic, porcelain, glass, or other delicate materials.
5. Placement & Handling
Always use tea ceremony sets on stable, level surfaces. Exercise care when pouring, lifting lids, moving trays, or handling vessels that contain hot liquid.
Tea trays, tools, cups, and accessories should be kept in an orderly arrangement during use to help prevent accidental spills, tipping, or breakage.
6. Cleaning & Care
Clean teaware gently and according to the material involved. Avoid harsh treatment, abrasive cleaners, or sudden temperature changes that may damage delicate finishes or surfaces.
Allow items to cool naturally before washing, rinsing, drying, or handling after use.
7. Tea Product Information
Stepman's Tea may offer packaged tea products sourced from third-party producers and suppliers. These teas are sold in their original packaged form and are not processed, blended, or repackaged by Stepman's Tea.
Customers should review all product packaging, preparation instructions, ingredient information, caffeine information, storage guidance, and any warnings provided with the tea before use.
Tea should be stored in a cool, dry place away from excessive heat, moisture, direct sunlight, and strong odors in order to help preserve freshness and quality.
Individuals with allergies, sensitivities, dietary concerns, medical conditions, pregnancy-related concerns, or caffeine-related restrictions should consult an appropriate professional if they have questions regarding tea consumption.
8. User Responsibility
The safe use of any tea ceremony set depends on careful handling, proper setup, supervision where appropriate, and attention during brewing and serving.
By using these products, the customer accepts responsibility for safe handling, appropriate supervision, and ordinary care during use.
