1. Free Standard U.S. Shipping

Stepman's Tea currently offers free standard shipping on tea ceremony sets and ceremonial tea available for purchase through our online store.

At this time, orders are shipped only within the United States. If an order can be placed through the Stepman's Tea shopping cart, standard U.S. shipping is currently included at no additional shipping cost.

2. Shipping / Delivery Time & Methods

Orders received before 2 p.m. EST Monday through Friday generally ship the same day. Orders placed after 2 p.m. usually ship the next business day.

Orders placed after 2 p.m. Saturday and all Sunday orders usually ship on Monday. Saturday and Sunday are not considered shipping days.

The order date is not counted as a shipping day. For example, an order shipped with a 2-Day service on Thursday may arrive on Monday.

Most packages ship by UPS to physical addresses. USPS service may be used when appropriate, including for addresses that require USPS delivery.

3. Expedited Shipping Options

Free standard shipping applies to eligible U.S. orders. Expedited shipping options may be available upon request or where offered during checkout.

If expedited shipping is requested, additional charges may apply depending on the selected carrier, delivery speed, destination, and package size.

Expedited services such as 2-Day, Overnight, or Saturday delivery are subject to carrier availability and are not guaranteed unless confirmed by the carrier.

4. Holiday Delays & Events Outside Carrier Control

UPS and USPS observe federal holidays. Shipments processed or in transit during holiday periods may be delayed.

Refunds are not issued for delays caused by holidays, weather, labor disputes, government regulations, carrier disruptions, or other events outside carrier control.

5. Signature Requirement

Some orders may require signature confirmation for security, especially higher-value tea ceremony sets or orders requiring additional verification.

If signature confirmation is waived at the customer’s request, responsibility for packages marked as delivered but later reported missing or stolen may transfer to the customer.

6. Additional Shipping Notes

Shipping carriers may assess fees for rerouted shipments, refused packages, address corrections, or unclaimed deliveries. In such cases, additional fees may apply.
